My name is Fran Thompson and I am honored to be the principal at St. Joseph Catholic School. I have served in the Diocese of Dallas as principal, assistant principal and teacher since 1984. I am passionate and enthusiastic about Catholic education, and I have been a student, a parent, and a staff member in the Catholic school system all my life. I bring a unique set of skills and strengths to share with the staff, students and parents because I have experienced where they are and where they are going.
In addition to supporting our teachers and staff as we strive to fulfill the mission of St. Joseph Catholic School, I have been charged with the tasks of working with our School Advisory Committee to create a long-term strategic plan for the school, as well as a plan to increase enrollment. I am also involved in supporting the creation and growth of an endowment fund for our school. I am dedicated to continuing and creating more opportunities for tuition assistance and I have a special focus on support for those children with mild to moderate learning differences at SJCS.
