Favorite Quotation:

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” - Mother Teresa

Why I Teach:

It is a calling that God has given me.  As a Catholic School teacher, I am called to motivate, inspire, and challenge my students to grow in faith and knowledge.   I love that I can share my faith with my students and freely talk about God's greatness.

Education and Training:

Graduated from St. Pius X Catholic High in Lincoln, NE

Graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education

Certified Catechist

Where I have lived:

I was born in Pennsylvania.   As refugees from Vietnam, my family was sponsored by a Catholic Church in Fairmont, West Virginia.  We moved to Bay City, Texas where I grew up.  I have also lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, Springfield and St. Louis, Missouri.

My Professional Experience:

Pre-K Teacher at Queen Angels in Springfield, MO for five years.

Fourth Grade Teacher at Saint Elizabeth Catholic School in Keller, TX for five years.

Second, Third, and Fourth Grade Teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School since 2007.

My Family:

My husband Ngoc and I are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church.   We've been married since 2006 and live in Sachse.  Our wonderful twins, Lucas and Erin, attend St. Joseph Catholic School.

Something you might not know about me:

You can always catch me crafting, cooking, or baking with family and friends during my free time!   I enjoy traveling, gardening, and doing yoga to relax.

My prayer for my students:

Father, May everything we do begin with your inspiration and continue with your saving help.  Let our work always find its origin in you and through you reach completion. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen
