Principal

Favorite prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.

Why I love Catholic school education:

Catholic schools provide a unique educational setting which incorporates Worship, Study, and Service.

Education and Training:

I received a Bachelor of Science from UNT in Elementary Education and Special Education and a Masters of Catholic School Leadership from University of Dallas.

My professional experience:

I happily served St. Patrick School in Dallas as principal, assistant principal and teacher for thirty-one years. Most recently, I was employed at a local Dallas museum and focused on non-profit management, customer service and volunteer recruitment. I am so pleased to be serving SJCS and back in Catholic education!

My family:

My daughter and son-in-law live in Fort Worth. My daughter is a social worker and works with the elderly and my son-in-law works for Fidelity. I am fortunate to live close to my mother and father and I am involved in their lives.

Something you might not know about me:

I have five brothers and no sisters!

My prayer for the students of St. Joseph:

“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.”
